As we helped more health experts bring products to life, we saw that creation was only one side of the challenge. Great digital health products also need a scalable way to reach health systems and the people who need them.

A journey of over more than a decade has got us where we are.
Making health apps faster and more economical to build
Cogniss was founded in Sydney to solve a simple but important problem: digital health products were too difficult, too expensive and too slow to build.
We developed and launched the first version of the Cogniss platform, proving the technology through early health products and paying customers.
Helping health experts build with no-code technology
The next step was to put more of the creation process directly into the hands of health experts. Cogniss evolved into a fully no-code platform, supported by customer success and implementation expertise. We also redomiciled to Cambridge, bringing the business closer to the UK health and innovation ecosystem.
This phase proved that health experts could create serious digital health products without relying on traditional software development.
Turning app development into a repeatable engine
We learned that technology alone was not enough. Health innovators also needed a structured pathway from expertise and research to functioning digital products.
Cogniss began launching cohort-based innovation programmes with partners across the health innovation ecosystem, combining technology, support and process into a repeatable model.
This phase showed that digital health creation could scale not just one app at a time, but across portfolios of innovators and products.
Creating a scalable route from products to patients
As product creation became easier to scale, another bottleneck became clear.
Great digital health products were still struggling to reach health systems and patients. Each product typically had to find its own route into care, navigate procurement independently and build its own path to adoption.
That is why Cogniss launched Ripple Scale. Ripple Scale adds the publishing and distribution layer: helping specialist digital health products reach health providers and the people they serve through a more scalable model.
