Access to educational content on healthcare conditions is an essential first step in driving behavior change in patients. However, creating high-quality and reliable content can be expensive and difficult for healthcare researchers, entrepreneurs and digital health leaders.

Cogniss is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with The Sound Doctor, a UK-based healthcare content provider that produces content for patients and carers on managing long-term health conditions safely and effectively at home.

The Sound Doctor’s readily available films, animations and courses follow the NICE guidelines, have received QISMET accreditation, and have an ORCHA rating of 83%. They can tailor their content to suit an app creator’s needs by dubbing content in specific languages and making it audience-specific, or develop bespoke content.

The Sound Doctor’s Co-Founder Rosie Runciman said: “Our goal at The Sound Doctor is to create better population health outcomes through our content. We’re excited to see how the Cogniss app creators incorporate our content into their digital health solutions.”

Cogniss’s Managing Director Dr. Lloyd Humphreys said: “Adding a nationally accredited content provider like The Sound Doctor to the Cogniss ecosystem gives our healthcare innovators fast, easy and economical access to reliable and engaging health content.”

The Sound Doctor’s content covers a range of health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, COPD, back pain, dementia and more.
