Ripple Scale's Heather Cook Joins Health Tech Pigeon to Talk Digital Health Adoption
Heather Cook, Managing Director of Ripple Scale, recently joined host Jessica Sumourou, Co-founder of SomX, on the Health Tech Pigeon podcast, alongside Fiona McCormick, an NHS speech and language therapist, and Toby Croft, Head of Innovation for Health at the Scottish Government, to discuss why so many promising digital health tools struggle to scale beyond a pilot.
Fiona built her speech and language therapy app on Cogniss to address gaps she encountered as an NHS clinician, and received guidance and support from the Health Innovation East programme. Her experience, navigating digital assurance processes on top of a full clinical caseload, is a familiar one across the more than 50 products now built on Cogniss, with 60 more in development.
It's also the same adoption problem that Ripple Scale, the digital health publisher that grew out of Cogniss, was built to solve. Read the full recap, including a striking comparison one guest draws between Ripple Scale and Spotify, on the Ripple Scale website.
